My husband, Jeremy
Jeremy is, without question, my best friend. He is one of the sweetest, kindest, most generous people I have ever met.
When he isn’t working, he loves being with his family and truly spending quality time with us.
As a spouse, he is attentive, affectionate, and dedicated. As a father, he is playful, loving, silly, and patient. There isn’t a day that we do not laugh and giggle as a couple or a family.
I am so thankful that God blessed me with such a wonderful husband and father for our children.
My wife, Andi
I have never met someone as caring and compassionate as Andi. Her heart for helping others shows anytime a friend or family member, or just someone they might know, expresses a need and she tries to find a way to help. As long as I have known Andi, she has wanted to be a mommy. Being Javan’s mommy answered many prayers, but I know she wants more little ones to shower with love and affection.
When not watching after our son (a full-time job itself), she loves spending quality time with family and friends, and especially of capturing those special moments on camera so they won’t be forgotten.
As a spouse, she is thoughtful, compassionate, and selfless. As a mother, she is loving, funny, and kind.
I could not have asked for a better wife or mother for our children.
Our son, Javan
We received an amazing blessing when we adopted Javan in 2011. We were honored that his birth mother allowed us to be the delivery room when he was born.
We’ve loved him from the moment we knew he was coming and that love has multiplied with each passing day.
Javan is a sweet and silly three year old with boundless energy who loves cars, trains, blocks, puzzles, and books.
He has shown to be a very loving big brother who keeps his sister out of the trouble.
Our daughter, Ania
During an ice storm that shut down the entire city in December of 2013, we received a phone call asking if we’d be interested in taking care of a newborn baby just entering foster care. We of course said yes without any hesitation and Ania has been in our home ever since.
Ania is a goofy, cuddly, sweet girl who loves to dance and climb and fits in our little family so perfectly it’s hard to imagine a day without her.
She absolutely adores her big brother and especially enjoys taking his toys and playing keep-away and hide-and-seek.
Our pets
We have three cats and one dog. The cats are Eddie, Harley, and TJ and they just love to cuddle.
Eddie will be the first cat to greet you, sometimes even with a kiss! He is one of the few cats you’ll meet who actually knows how to play fetch!
Harley is our older cat and very chatty. She’s always happy to let you know what’s on her mind.
TJ is our big baby. While he’s the largest of the cats, he’s also a big softie.
Our dog is a French bulldog named Joey who is patient with kids and loves to play. While Joey doesn’t mind when little ones pull on his ears or grab his nose, he just loves if you give him belly rubs!
Our home
We live in a comfortable four bedroom home in a growing suburb northeast of Dallas, Texas. Our community is a wonderful place to raise our children. Our town is small enough to feel intimate but large enough so that anything we may need is nearby. Our school district gets fantastic reviews. We are in close proximity to multiple parks and playgrounds and a short drive to Legoland, Six Flags, and the Dallas Zoo.
Our family and friends
Our circle of support is richly diverse and made up of many remarkable, compassionate, and fun loving people— close family, that will always support us, and amazing friends who are a second family. You can see many of them in our pictures on our Facebook page!
Our church
We attend One Community Church, where everyone is welcome and no one walks alone. We have been going to our church for over four years.
